The living room at The Old Coach House in Surrey was perfectly symmetrical, in the centre of which stood an impressive fireplace. The exposed brickwork gave the room a rustic and honest feel, which we honoured through the use of cream linens, wicker baskets and antique furniture. The cream and stone colour palette remained clean and warm, whilst chrome and glass accessories from Andrew Martin and Ralph Lauren lifted the scheme by injecting light and reflection.

As interior designers in Surrey and London, we were delighted to have been asked to assist this successful local business man and advisor to the House of Commons. We wanted to create something entirely appropriate to his sophisticated and elegant lifestyle. The client left us with a set of valuable watercolour paintings by artist Henry Small, and asked if we would incorporate them into the scheme for the drawing room. This double aspect room with large open fireplace was joyous in its proportions and allowed for large pieces of bespoke furniture. We took inspiration from the clien't watercolours and develpoed the design from there.

As interior designers in Surrey and London, we were delighted to have been asked to assist this successful local business man and advisor to the House of Commons. We wanted to create something entirely appropriate to his sophisticated and elegant lifestyle. The room was furnished with Churchill styled sofas, Milano chairs and oriental inspired linen press exclusive to April Hamilton. The Linen press, designed by our senior designer Rosemary Ridgway, subsequently appeared in Homes & Gardens magazine but was incorrectly attributed to White Allom Studio (formerly Hutson Designs).

As interior designers, we were delighted to be commissioned to work on this period Coach House in leafy Surrey. An oversized Andrew Martin clock acts as the focal point in this design, reflecting the material of the existing wrought iron spiral staircase. Neutral tones throughout create a soft and demure appearance.

As interior designers in Surrey, we were delighted when we were asked to help the owners of this period Coach House revive their property and create a beautiful family home. The elegant colouring of this scheme allowed Andrew Martin furniture and Peter Arnold prints from The Trowbridge Gallery to speak for themselves. Accented using chrome accessories and plush silk cushions, the design of the living space was successfully completed and the owners were thrilled with the end result.

Working with our Photographer who specialises in interiors, we captured this artistic shot, highlighting the work of Jane Packer, one of our favourite floral designers. The simplicity of the arrangement is achieved by adhering to the rule of odd over even. A simple, yet aesthetically pleasing practice.

The living room of this exclusive home in Burwood Park, Weybridge was designed to act as a formal relaxation space. The double aspect allowed for a wonderfully bright space which was emphasised through the use of a cream and white colour palette. The client asked that a space be provided to display her beautiful collection of antique silver and crystal. To accommodate this, Andrew Martin glass and chrome console tables were positioned behind each sofa. Accents of pink and chocolate fabrics anchored the scheme and kept the feel classically modern and feminine.

The morning room of another listed building surrendered gracefully to the remodelling required and the tranquil palette of creams and golds.

A wonderfully challenging project as the listed building was subject to a protected interior, I introduced a little contemporary twist with the use of duck egg blue and taupe, whilst keeping the accessories rather more traditional, achieving a balanced and appropriate interior for the client’s new home.
