The Great Outdoors...23 August 2019
There is something therapeutic about sunshine, and with this weekend’s forecast heat wave, we are looking forward to getting out of the studio and enjoying the warm weather!
A luxury interior designed home should flow from the interior into the garden. I have always believed that the garden should be treated as another room in the house. It is such a wonderful opportunity to be creative and embrace the colours and textures that are abundant in nature! Whether a more structured design with muted tones, whites and the silvery greys of foliage; or the more natural and varied colour palette of a country garden appeals to you - there is no limit to what can be created!
We have recently discovered an amazing company, www.gartenart.co.uk, that create outdoor swimming ponds! I can think of no better way to end a relaxing day in the garden, than with a dip in a lake. And unlike a swimming pool, with its hard edges and imposing design, a pond will seamlessly blend into your landscape, capturing and reflecting the aesthetic of your garden.
A tranquil place to mull away the balmy evenings on the bank or a welcome respite from the heat of the day - what’s not to love?
So as we prepare for a lazy (or not so lazy - depending on your gardening prowess) weekend in the sunshine, there is only one thing to ask - how does your garden reflect your style?
