The interior of Salcome…19 July 2019
Having been invited for the 3rd year running to stay with some dear friends in Salcombe we jumped at the chance, even though previously there have been occasions the weather has been a tad wobbly, this trip proved to be absolutely faultless with clear blue skies and calm seas. Mutual friends stayed at the Salcombe hotel and the interiors are a designer’ dream with timelss classics such as painted T&G ceilings and soft muted colours, the texture of materials was perfect for that contemporary unpretigious feel of luxury, with well considered facilites such as the gorgous spa, friendly bar and delicious resturant – and the views were simply to die for…
So if you fancy a treat https://www.harbourhotels.co.uk/salcombe/hotel-gallery suggest an early booking it’s a real favourite for many!
Luckily for us, our friends have a super boat they were able to take us out and about and onto some of the places you see in the video - it truly was, quite humbling, speeding along looking up at the huge rockface, it’s overwhelming pressence ensured I knew my place in the world. Wild life was in abundance and was pointed out as we sped our way to Noss mayo for a wonderful tradional lunch at the pub in the warm summer sun – simply perfect
No visit to Salcombe would be complete without sampling Salcombe gin, with lessons available, which I found slightly strange as I know how to drink gin? Seriously they make a great gift along with lots of yummy luxury gifts to bring back. The interior of bar, is of course stylish and considered and the beautiful distillery a visual feast and absolute must on your To Do list when you ‘re there
