It doesn’t take a London address to know one, and April Hamilton has become familiar with a great number of prime city addresses over the years, managing them all with ease from our Surrey HQ.
Just recently a returning client asked us to completely remodel their Chelsea property, from the basement to top floor, including the terrace and courtyard. The style was to be soft country, with London overtones, ensuring their personal taste of soft blues and crèmes were fully considered within the schemes we chose.

We were quickly able to establish a rapport, embrace the brief, and set a lively pace together. We began with spatial changes which included three new bathrooms and cloakroom; beautiful bespoke joinery, including wardrobes; a new study and entertainment area, encompassing a full lighting design, and all the nuances of luxury interiors. A special request from the client was to create an understated and a comfy TV room supported by a drinks area to the back. Our client certainly felt that we achieved what the brief had set out.
Our favourite aspect of this London interior design project was the master bedroom. Our timeless and elegant painted furniture, with mother of pearl handles, is a perennial favourite with many clients – we love to design and make bespoke pieces like these.
Trust in your interior design team
Whilst we listen very carefully to a brief, we have 25 years of experience of remodelling large and listed city buildings… so we’re confident you can place your trust in our team.
The results will speak for themselves as they did on another London project. Our client engaged us to remodel a nineteen-room house on the edge of Richmond Park. It was such a unique and gorgeous property that we spent several months with the client evolving ideas and signing off designs, making sure everything was just right before starting the works.

The designs for the project flowed harmoniously with a holistic & balanced approach . We achieved this by relying on our in-depth contact lists, using a host of our favourite suppliers and brands.
We also used our own expert joinery team to create a range of unique and bespoke pieces. Joinery was deployed across every room, from the cinema room to the children’s bunk beds, also including the clever fretwork wardrobes that led to a secret door into the master en-suite.
This and all of our prime London interior projects were a joy to create and present to our appreciative clients. If you would like to find out more about other successful interior and architectural design projects in London, please continue to browse our portfolio pages on this website.
