Exploring the Latest Luxury Interior Design Trends at Taste of Design 2023
This years Taste of Design was a unique design event that features the world’s leading luxury interior brands exhibiting in the UK. As always, Taste of Design venues include some of the most iconic and beautiful locations across the UK, including the likes of Hever Castle, Farnham Castle, Bowood Hotel, Wormsley Manor, Compton Verney & Hampton Court.
We attended the charming Hampton Court, a lovely setting for a series of incredible design events.

Our favourite of the day was William Yeoward, a modern British designer, who we’ve worked with for many years. We were inspired to use some of their richly coloured embroidered cushions, stunning lamps. There was a stunning selection of rugs on display, including one we’re currently using in a current project.
Attending luxury interior design events and exhibits fuels our creativity whilst a project is in the design state. This is always the fun part – as we enjoy discovering new ideas and pieces. This also keeps our designs current, on trend and stylish.
We were thrilled to see the Hunter & Hylands collaboration, featuring their incredible finials featuring hand blown William Yeoward Strata crystals.

We browsed some of the stylish pieces from Vincent Sheppard, creators of refreshing and attractive indoor and outdoor furniture pieces since 1992.
The David Lounge Chair was on display, a simple yet stylish outdoor piece from an existing collection that was showcased alongside their new Lento collection (which embodies the philosophy of taking it slow!). These solar-powered lanterns are a natural complement to the collection. In fact, we used one of Vincent Sheppard’s collections in our Countryside Luxury Project – specifically, in the poolside seating area.

It was a pleasure to peruse the luxuriously rich offerings from Jacaranda Carpets. We’ve featured many of their carpets throughout our project portfolio.
Over at Bennett Silks, we bumped into an old friend and discovered his new collection. Bennett Silks is a family owned company and they are one of the oldest specialist silk fabric companies in the UK. A prime example of their work is Cheltenham Tweed in Bleached White, a stunning interior fabric.
Blithfield’s new Kamara collection naturally stood out to us – with bright and bold patterns that are reminiscent of cushion fabric used in our Kingston-Upon-Thames Project.
Finally, we adored the speciality wallcoverings from both Madeaux & Phillip Jeffries.
Phillip Jeffries Japonaise Collection is inspired by the modern Japanese form and function. These designs are instantly soothing and instill a sense of calm and serenity. We particularly like the clean lines and warm tones. View more from the new collection at Taste of Design here.

Madeaux continues to inspire us with immaculate wall coverings. Browse the Neptune’s Vase Wallpaper, a striking design with floral patterns. Explore the full range of wallcoverings from Madeaux here.
